A damaged propeller rarely announces itself politely. A strike bends a blade a few degrees, pitch goes out of true, and suddenly the whole driveline buzzes — costing you speed, fuel and, left long enough, the health of your gearbox, shaft bearings and engine mounts.

When it’s not the propeller
Here’s what we see constantly: a boat owner reconditions a prop and the vibration is still there — because the real cause was engine mounts, shaft alignment, a worn cutless bearing or the coupling.
